In the past few days, there were by far 4 big news that flooded the internet and were top of the headlines both local and international news. These were the magnitude 9 earthquake in Japan and its tsunami and nuclear melt down sequel, marriage of prince William and Kate Middleton, beatification of pope John Paul II and recently the expiry of the most wanted terrorist Osama bin laden. In local news (Philippines) big headline was the resignation of ombudsman Merceditas Gutierrez, whom allegedly accused of fondling former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo et al over graft and corruption.
